Through Prompt, you can deliver over 1,000,000 messages an hour. Their messaging infrastructure enables important use cases, like helping local food banks directly communicate with families and individuals needing assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the increase in the demand for messaging systems, the team need help with optimization of the product to increase user engagement and a better design system that would allow the scale of the product further.

The Challenge

Increase Engagement

The Prompt team was looking to optimize the existing platform to drive citizen engagement with political campaigns in the 2020 election cycle through SMS broadcasting.

Scalable Design System

With the perspective of creating new features, the Prompt team wanted to unify their existing web product under a single, scalable front-end design system that will help to speed up the design and development. The resulting tool needed to be powerful enough for seasoned organizers operating at scale, yet welcoming and immediately usable for fledgling civic activists.

The Solution

We worked closely with the team to explore different options for improvements for the platform that would be accessible across user types and scenarios. We were engaged to rapidly design and rollout a design system addressing:
